HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

Our First Shop...
In 1999, Mike and Debbie Wilson launched Diversified Signs in the humble York Body Shop, a small space graciously rented to them by the kind-hearted Julian Dickerson. Starting with simple post-and-panel signs and installations, their relentless work ethic and commitment to quality laid the foundation for our growth. With the support of Julian and Bill Love, Mike built our first true facility, a stepping stone to our current 51,000 sq ft shop. This black-and-white photo captures that modest beginning—a testament to hard work, community, and the faith-driven spirit that still defines us.

OUR FIRST REAL SIGN SHOP!

Where things started to take off!

In 2002, Mike and Debbie Wilson leveled up Diversified Signs, moving from the York Body Shop to our first dedicated facility, made possible by the generosity of Julian Dickerson and Bill Love. Outfitted with CNC routers, a sandblasting booth, paint room, and assembly areas, this shop ignited our growth, transforming small jobs into a booming business. Their belief in Mike’s vision, paired with our tireless work ethic, forged the path to our current 51,000 sq ft facility. This photo captures that vibrant turning point—where dedication and community built our future.
